According to the club's constitution, the purpose of the Association is:
- To promote and advance the educational, philanthropic, recreational, social, cultural, moral and patriotic interest and the union and the health and welfare of persons resident in the State of Victoria in the Commonwealth of Australia who were born in the island of LESVOS, GREECE or are the descendants of persons who were born in the island of LESVOS and to maintain the basic Greek characteristics, national traditions, customs and habits.
- To encourage friendly relationships between LESVOS or persons of their extraction and other societies having aims and objects similar to those of the Association.
- The granting of financial and other help and assistance to necessitous or sick or incapacitated or impoverished or unemployed persons of Lesvian origin or descent as aforesaid
