On Sunday March 7, 2010, Palesviaki Enosis Melb Vic held with great success one of the main events in the club’s calendar, the Ouzo Festival or OUZOFEST10.

The event was attended by over 500 members and friends of the club who enjoyed what turned out to be a fantastic day with plenty of Ouzo, food and entertainment for the whole family.

The event attended the Counsel General of Greece Mr C. Salamanis, the Victorian MP for the seat of Bayswater Ms Heidi Victoria and other officials. This year the Ouzo Festival was also attended by fellow Mytileneans from New Zealand and the other States of Australia who came as part of the “Get together of Mytilenians” of the Pan-Lesvian Federation of Australia and New Zealand.

Sincere thanks to our sponsors, our volunteers, the Committee and members and friends who supported us in this event.
