Welcome to Palesviaki
Palesviaki invites you to come and enjoy, traditional Greek music, dance, food and ouzo from the Greek island of Lesvos at our club house.
This year’s Ouzo Festival includes:
- The Greek band TA LEVENTOPEDA.
- The PEGASUS dancing group performing traditional dances of the island in traditional costumes.
- Children’s activities including a Jumping Castle.
- You can purchase traditional Greek fare such as, char-grilled octopus, gyros, Greek salad, sardines in brine, feta cheese, beer and soft drinks.
- Entrance is $15 per adult, includes OUZO and a commemorative ouzo glass. Free admission for children under 18 years.
This year, the festival will attend:
- The Consul General of Greece Mrs Eleni Lianidou,
- The Minister for Multicultural Affairs Mr. Nick Kotsiras,
- The MP for the Seat of Bayswater Ms Heidi Victoria and
- Fellow compatriots from Sydney and Adelaide.

Palesviaki Documentary, 1966
In 1966 the predecessor club of Palesviaki (Pittakos) produced a documentary on the life of the Greek Migrants in Australia.
